Need some input on what company would take me on since getting fired from CRST< for hitting my co-driver, my youngest step brother! I was at CRST for 11 months with no accidents, tickets or anything! I worked for a local company before that running the north east, but in a day cab! I have a great refrence from the local company, I have 1 backing accident, that's it, NO arrest's and or any trouble at all! I really LOVE to drive and love OTR,any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated!
need advice, to get back on the road!

Just keep looking I think your local yellow pages is the best place to look first. You are far from being un-hireable if what you say is all there is to it.

well.........by some labor laws, no employer can say why they fired you......but this is not going to stop them from putting a black mark on your DAC.......then too, in almost every application it will ask you, "he\ave you ever been dismissed from an employer".?
what will you do then.........how will you answer.........??
brother or not........you still hit another person in a company truck, or on company grounds.............
best to look for a small company...........
and if they ask, why you left your last employer............what do you say then too.........??
gotta learn to keep your hands to yourself......... -
if gettin fired from a driving job kep[t you from getting another driving job, there would be more unemployed drivers than there are...hang in there..your experience is light, but doable..shakey.
BIG RIGGER Thanks this. -
your comment would be true in "some instances"........
but he DID assault another person.........
no company takes assault lightly...........
i do wish him well, he just needs to be particularly careful in how he answers the question, "have you ever been fired (or discharged) from an employer.
