    OK here goes...:biggrin_2556:

My hubby and I have been teaming for close to 4 yrs. We have worked for Landspan...(great company til the miles dropped and we thought we could do better so we left.) Then we worked for NDL..again not a bad company but they took all the extras away from the driver ...ex stop pay and layover pay and what u got was 46cpm that was it! and they dropped their pay to every 2 weeks..so we left..Now the one thing that I have found in this industry is that u can switch companies and as a matter of fact it seems to be common..I was in the medical field before this and you just don't do that in the medical field..it doesn't look good. Anyway, I know how much these recruiters lie..trust me! that is why I have been picky about the companies that I do go too. My question is does anyone have any names of any companies that are good for teams. I have been searching everywhere to try and find some names but always come up with the same results on the web. I really don't want to go to like a USXpress cause I know that is a disaster waiting to happen..lol ...we have great DAC reports..no accidents or anything. We currently live in western ky. I would really appreciate any feed back...Thanks

what you're lookin for is a needle in a haystack..you might get lucky and find something close to what you want , if you do , then grab it and ride it out..truckin has ups n downs, it isn't like any other occupation in the world that i know of...never think you can compare truckin to anything else medical field or otherwise..as for job-hoppin, eventually that will catch up to you and there goes your DAC report....if you want a regular weekly paycheck as a truck driver, look for something close to home witha day-cab..sorry..wish the news was better, but i grew up in trukin, my Father; my Grandfather (he hollered gee & haw i think). shakey

Hook up with produce haulers, not the run of the mill, the really good ones.

If you are a good team, .50 cents or more should be your minimum........!!!!

If you are owner/operators check out southern pride trucking. Make big money hauling aircraft engines.

With the companies that we have worked for we have been making 46cpm.. I have looked at Kennesaw but we dont have experience with reefer..We have only done dry van...Is Kennesaw good to there employees? I'm really tired of the lying by these recruiters...I understand that were not gonna get 5000 miles every week and that is OK..but dont BS me and tell me that you'll never gonna sit for a weekend then leave us sitting for 4 days in Oregon in a rest area..Geesh Just tell me the truth and I'll try to get a hotel room!!! Dont tell me ya have great equipment then it once ya get there it is bad..I just want to know the truth up front n it seems to be a hard thing for alot of them to do..I'm so leary now ...MY hubby and I have never been late on load...we are hard workers and give our all and the same would be much appreciated...haha I figured that one out about the difference in Medical to this field..I went from having to be so professional to just the opposite...We are not O/O ...I dont want to rush into that cause I dont know enough about the business but I do appreciate you mentioning them.
