CH Robinson has not paid lumper fees for over 4 months

Trouble65, you might want to check on that. What CHR did was advance the lumper fees against your settlement amount. It will be subtracted from the rate unless you get a revised rate conf., and send in the lumper receipt with your invoice. Maybe they do things different in Canada, but I have never known them to vary from that process here in the US.

 

$125 for 8 hours ($15 an hour) is a joke, it should have been closer to $800.

How do you think they made over $300 million in profits?....Look, transportation has MORE than its fair share of crooks and thieves....I work with a very small outfit and even they are constantly trying to skim here and there on my check almost every week!.....when all else fails and you can't satisfy your greed with some degree of honesty....just steal, deny, point fingers,....ignore.....Transportation is a cesspool flooded with crooks......I'll shut up now........

Just what is "cheap freight"? I had a regular run that payed really,really good. I would take freight that payed $1.00 per mile sometimes to reposition for next run.(sometimes less) I always made money. If the back haul payed round trip fuel plus a few bucks I was happy. Then again I always knew my break even point. I could haul the $1.00 per mile freight and still make money on it. So to me the $1.00 per mile wasn't cheap freight.
