    Im looking for an otr job preferibly flatbed but im not to picky. I got my cdl at 19 and have been driving local pulling hopper bottom, and end dump trailers. I have a 100% clean record, ive also considered buying my own truck and leasing on with a company. If theirs any jobs out their let me know, im having a little trouble finding otr jobs at my age thanks.

    you did'nt give an idea of your location and/or where you want to run..if you want to be a flat bedder, call maverick...they are top shelf & i don't think your age is an issue..hi-de-ho

    maverick won't take you unless your 23, alot of flatbed places seem to have a 23yr old limit, try boyd, I didnt notice if they had one or not.

    A lot of companies in general have a 23 or 25 year old limit. Thank the insurance companies for that one.

    I am in the same boat as you asphalt cowboy. im 21 got my cdl when i was 19 too n i pull a coal bucket hauling grain in ohio. I have a 100% clean record too n i want to get with a flatbed company but it seems hard to get hired to a flatbed company. Im located in northwest ohio n am willin to run OTR so if any 1 knows of any companies willing to hire let me know id really appreciate it .
