Thanks for all the input so far.
Keep it coming. -
I can tell you it probably was med history.I had a recruiter come to my school looking for drivers. He said I looked big and strong enough for flatbed would I like to work for them. I said yeah, but had a transplant 10yrs ago and he said sorry your a workmans comp risk. So many companies refuse to hire on what ifs, which is flat out discrimination. there have been cases where companies were forced to pay a years wages for this what if behavior.

Hunt Transportation is exclusively flatbed. The last I knew they didn't train... you have to come to them with at least 1 yr flatbed experience.
A good outfit, though, for the most part. -
I went with Werner 10 months ago and ran Midwest regional for a few weeks before being offered a dedicated run with them, I ran that and then moved to Family Dollar and now I'm on a nice dedicated line haul run from CA to IN with them. No major complaints for a newbie, they run me and pay me, but i dont slack around at the truck stops. i fuel and go until I'm out of hours and as soon as i'm reset I'm off running again.

how can you say $ .27/ mile is good
thats what Rohel starts student drivers out at
you would be lucky is at the end of the week if it averaged out to $9.00/hr -
Don't you think you should find out why you were disqualified from driving???? You might save yourself some headaches in the future.
