That IS how they stay in business.
They've devised a method of profiting from training a never ending supply of desperate wannaBees, along with wannaBees with stars in their eyes. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself. It just seems those folks are more gullible and easier to take advantage of.

It's been reported that the government pays for putting Americans back to work, so besides a profit from training, there's a government bonus.

If they fall for the lease program, and fail, as it seems many do, the obscene payments they've already made to the finance company that CRE either owns or is in bed with adds to the profits.
When that same Big truck is leased to the next newBee, the process starts all over again. And freight is moved cheaper than paying experienced drivers what they're worth.

Every lease driver is doing CRE a big favor by taking on the headaches of maintaining a Big truck, thereby saving the company a bundle, keeping their profit numbers up at the expense of the lease drivers.

The program seems to be geared to depend on failures to realize Big profits.
With the glut of applications on recruiter's desks as a result on the current economy and displaced workers desperate for ANY job that'll pay the bills, companies like CRE are in their glory. Easy pickins.

It's a mistake to think that their business practice is stupid, ---
actually, it's very clever. Unethical, but clever.

You sure got a way with words Aftershock. Very well put. The trucking business is full of dishonest crooks.

England has people who stay busy going out just to pick up abandoned trucks from drivers who could afford to drive no further, after driving for england for 3 months I had to borrow money for a bus ticket to get home. you will earn more standing on the corner with a sign.

I have to say this is a most popular site, how many victims have we identified?

Any other truck site larger than England's??

Free for nearly 2 yrs now.

Did he get out of Ohio?

    Is he pulling loads?

    Has he cashed a check?

Stay tuned for the next episode of:

England gave me a load and then let me go home to rest.

I so miss the recent triumps - since I don't see many of their trucks.
