So I was thinking of doing the regional Tanker. NE regional (Carlisle,) I sure the oreintation and training is hard but why is it they offer 6 days off a month but van regional gets 36 - 48 wkly hometime? That mean tanker is not regional? Can someone explaiN?

Finding an MT in Chicago can be an experience, though it's better than it used to be since they started satellite tracking trailers....I very rarely have to go on a "pumpkin hunt" nowdays....johnday Thanks this.

JOHNDAY, my need for a non-smoking pod is strictly due to my asthma. It's been well-controlled for decades, but working and sleeping in a confined area where there's been smoking would be pushing the envelope for me. I live just a few miles from one of RJR's manufacturing plants and when the wind blows just right you can smell the cured tobacco in the air. The dialogue goes, "You smell that? That's the smell of money." Yes sir, I know what crop keeps my State afloat. Light 'em if you got 'em, just please not in my rig.

Ya, and they look like it too,eh?
