Same goes for the CB Radio in a truck stop. A couple of days ago a CB'r was running his mouth on his radio. As most of you probably know, TA in Amarillo has police patrol who have CB Radio's. A officer told him to knock it off, and the driver made a smart a.. remark. The officer again ask him to quit. The driver didn't believe him and told the person claiming to be a police officer come to his truck so he could beat the s... out of him. So, the other driver being a police officer should up for the brawl. The driver making the smart a.. comments ended up with a very long 34 in lock up. As the officer left he warned, other drivers to keep the peace.

I would think that even the liberal media in our country would have a field day with the way some the companies out here are trying to treat drivers. Not just with idling laws, but with poor pay, under-trained drivers and being forced to drive unsafe, raggety equipment. Fox news might be one of the only national news companies willing to cover it, and that's a stretch. Possibly on a local news level it may work.

just take a girlfriend or wife with you. You can build up air pressure inside the truck pretty fast, cause we all know they never shut up. =):biggrin_25522::biggrin_25523:

You have to understand the Liberal mindset ... it's only an issue when it suits them politically.

"Working class" usually means union, not non-union.

No one cares about truck drivers anymore. All they care about is getting their freight. If you die, it is just 1 more person to not have to feed and the government can go after your family for your possessions and force them to pay taxes. This is why I am getting out. I'm tired of working for nothing...
