The qualcomm doesn't really have a problem in the mountains or the middle of nowhere. I regularly have qualcomm reception in the middle of vast (verizon) black holes.

That isn't to say your qualcomm signal can withstand the challenge of a fuel aisle, loading dock, or most tall buildings. Goes out from time to time for no reason too, but sometimes its only a matter of moving up 30 or 40 feet.
