Guys,
I am looking for recommendations on a 42x80 mattress for my KW.
I took the old out out and now have nothing but a stainless steel slab.
I see prices/types that are all over the map. KW has a replacement just like I had in there for $140 plus tax, which I didnt think was TOO bad.

that's not bad considering the prices of new matresses these days. maybe a futon place just a thought though
-
you can get a real mattress that fits--if you spend a lot of time in the truck it is worth it
i think it is called a long single--those factory ones get kinda hard on the back in a hurry -
I've wasted about 600 bucks on "truck mattresses" in the last 2 years. My advice - get a real mattress. Yours and mine are twin extra long in the real world. They are used in dormitories and hospitals mostly and are pretty commonly available.

I bought a twin x-long memory foam mattress for my 379, no comparison to sleeping on an oem mattress.
-
Just slept on one of those last night there pretty good and well I cannont comment or speculate on what happened there so dont ask
-
select comfort all the way probably 300 to 400 for that size but worth it
-
the select comfort is the one im going with, from what I understand they make one that will fit the truck, and it is just under 600 bucks.
A good bed will do wonders for your health. -
I just replaced mine with the Inner Space mattress and I really like it. It's made from Versitex foam, which is a lot like memory foam. I bought it at my local Pete dealer and it was $165.

Got a part number? Is it 42x80 ?
Thanks....My original one was an Innerspace...
