In the future? From the look of thing's on all the trucking forum's I frequent, I would guess they get their full share of them now.
I know they will take you as an employee with 3 month's expierience, that is just about the same a CDL Mill driver don't you think?

I alway's thought JBH was a good company until I started listening to some driver's talking about them, and then reading all the negative thing's being said about them.

I had a buddy of mine that drove for them a couple of different times, he did not like it either time as he said he did not get enough miles. He only did it because they would hire him again as he needed a job ASAP for a child support issue, and they were "Handy" at the time.

Some must be doing ok over there as they get new trucks in all the time, we deliver trucks to JBH all the time, all over the place. Or they could not be updateing their equipment like they do.

as some of us know, JBH gave up recruiting school grads as the company was losing "focus" on the current drivers they had, and were losing them. JBH "focused" on pay rasies, benefits, new equipment, etcc, etc.

someday however, JBH may have to start recruiting agin from the schools. let's hope that the venture is better than it was years ago, you know, like swift is now.............??

Does anyone know if JB Hunt actually does have a Drop and Hook Divison where a driver can be assigned to? I know someone who was talking to a recuiter who told him he will be in the Drop and Hook Divison where all he will do is pick up a trailer and drop it. He won't have to sit and wait to be loaded and unloaded. Sounds like another lie to me.

I would just like to interject a point on this one.Even if there is a strictly drop and hook division, you can still wait around forever on your next dispatch. So it might not be as rosy as it sounds.Regardless of whether its live loads and unloads,or drop & hooks the company still has to keep you moving for you to make good money.:yes2557:

True Road Dog.......We have had our experiences with JBH (not good) and have tried to tell this guy to stay away from them. However in the few short months that he has gotten his CDL he has managed to tick a couple of companies off. I told him to watch it companies have a way of putting bad reports on his DAC but he doesn't think he did anything wrong....JBH may be his only hope.
