Okay, I'll keep this rant short simply out of pity for those of you who normally suffer through my long and winding posts.

Last night we had to stop at the Flying J in Winslow AZ to take on fuel. (Don't even ask why because then I'd have to rant about idiots with computers who drive a desk instead of a truck)

Went inside and asked them for the comdata code......NOONE working there knew it. *blinks* WHAt the heck? No one employed at the Flying J in Winslow AZ knew what their comdata code was but they reassured me they accept comdata!

Sometimes I really understand why postal workers go.........well.........postal. :biggrin_25523:

Okay the thing with the code is this: when a driver has to get fuel that wasn't planned by the computer on the original fuel route it's deemed "emergency" fuel and must be approved by the on road division of Swift. They require the code so it can be authorized.

But here's the bottom line: it's their business they should have the code. It's a bit like having a driver who doesn't know how to shift. He's got the truck, the load, the route and a time to get there but he can't get the truck out of the yard because.......he can't shift.
