Thinking about applying with J.B. Hunt. I got my class A cdl 4 months ago but have no driving experience. Would they consider someone with no experience? Appreciate hearing any pros and cons about J.B. Hunt. Do they also have a class B fleet?
Thanks,

As far as I know they dont really have a class B fleet, except maybe some mechanics and their shop trucks. I dont think they take students anymore. There are probably better options out there than J.B.

Hate to say this but they do have a fleet of class B vehicles here in Texas. I seen them just the other day, I had to do a double take.

I have applied to JB Hunt dedicated, straight trucks, delivering appliances in Charlotte area.

We (yeah I'm JB driver) do have an account, I think it's with Whirlpool, but I'm not sure on that, where we have straight trucks to deliver and install appliances in people's homes. That might be what you saw. The shop employees use straight trucks as well, usually to go to rail yards to work on containers and chassis.
And no, we don't hire students, we don't have a training program like we used to.rookietrucker Thanks this. -
They all appear to be from JB's DCS, some have been plain white trucks, others appear to be that company painted on the box with white cab with JB Hunt DCS on the door. Interesting they are going after the local market with straight trucks.
