Stop, if they all quit complaining I won't have anything to laugh at in the evening. Oh yea! I always tell my kids that know-one likes a complainer. LOL!!! You my lady, are complaining.

Well, I apologize for ever voicing an opinion about anything, especially if myself or anyone ever felt that they were mistreated and taken advantage of for any reason. I also apologize for posting my viewpoints on this bad company thread.
Before I go to bed, I'm going to take these pills so that when I wake up and come back here to discuss any other experiences, the pills will kick in to block out any negative thoughts since that's not allowed, and I will only express my thoughts and ideas in complete positive bliss.
I want to say something horrible, but just the scent of these pills have caused me to post something pleasant instead. Here is what I think of you nay-sayers who come here to complain about people complaining:

Now we can all live in YOUR world whenever we feel like we've been ripped off. Behold, the true image of modern day trucking!!!

Thats funny, most truckers just want to be paid for all the work they do.
If anyone has a pass to complain its truckers. Alot of them get the shaft everyday, but I guess thats just trucking.Beechvtail and Dna Mach Thank this. -
Work your way up in a bottom feeder company. Check.
When mistreated, suck it up and take it. Check.
Inferior unsafe equipment? Drive it anyway. Check.
But no one entitled to anything out of the womb? I have two words for you. Paris Hilton.
The only way anyone can better themselves is to recognize that their current situation is not acceptable. Complaining as you call it here is a public self dialogue. I believe some cautionary tales are really altruistic.
For you to ridicule and belittle those that use this forum to even describe their dissatisfaction in order to better themselves is unacceptable. Maybe you could slip back behind that desk and go back to taking your recruiting inquiries. -

I have noticed something about the threads here. If you read them close, you find that the person making the post about company "A" has only been driving a year or less, only with the company for 3 months or less, yet they complain about the company or trucking in general. That short of time isn't really giving the job a chance.
I don't normally read topics past the first few pages since most turn into one poster bashing another poster about something other than what the original post was about. Or, you get someone who has never actually worked for that company, just thinks they are an expert on that particular company because they have read all the threads about that company.
Then you get the "fly by" poster who post up about a company, doesn't go into specifics, just it's a "bad company" and that he got screwed over. They only got one post and you never hear from them again.
There are good companies and bad companies, but you will find, after being behind the wheel for awhile and working for different companies, they all about the same. They are in business to make money. If they didn't get you home for you childs birthday or first little league game, they don't really care. If the wheels aren't turning, they aren't making money. If you don't want to work for them, they aren't worried, a new class of drivers just graduated from CDL school yesterday.
BTW, I like my job, just don't always like the company. But, tomorrow is a new day. -
now i got to say somthing on this subjest. now it is true you do hear a lot of complaints from truckers but take it for what it is , just blowing off steam and frustration. it's not the business it's the driver, o ihear all the complaints from about everyone but not all there are quite a few that you never hear complain and those are truckers while most of the compainers are complaining the trucker sits back and puts money in the bank and goes for another load and you never hear a word wonder why.
ITS NOT THE BUSINESS THAT MAKES THE DRIVER IT'S THE DRIVER THAT MAES THE BUSINESS. now i've been out here a long time ,and to be honest i have nothing to complain about those that do could it be that your doing somthing wrong, this business is not going to change to suit your own agenda you have to change to suit the bsiness if you don't understand that you might consider a new line of work the truckng business is what it is and it aint going to change and most of us dont want it to change we like it the way it is and we are making money at it with out all the compaints the only difference is we took the time to learn how to do it right.
those of you that dont or can't see that well good luck to you keep complaning let us no how much money you make.
good luck to all of you. southernpride
JustSonny, Sweaty, Diesel Dave and 4 others Thank this. -
the last sentence was exactly what I was thinking. Too funny

Why do WE all get put in the same catagory I have been a member for over a yr and some not all complain about EVERYTHING but not ALL do ...The best advice for anyone is it doesnt matter who you work for its HARD and it takes YOU to and try make it work for you . IT dont matter what or where it is you have to take the good with the bad and make the BS work in your favor if not move on some not all companies are the pits to work for .But you have to put your time in BEFORE you can have the better life that trucking CAN and will provide .One thing for sure you will not start out on the top ........
