And the beating continues. A 550 mile load that doesn't deliver till Monday. Glad I almost have my 2 yrs experience in and can start looking elsewhere.

Well... reefer freight always slows down this time of year. Should pick up again next month. Good luck man!

Well my home time starts tomorrow (Saturday) at 8am, the load I'm on delivers in 2 days at 9am, then I get to drive home (I hope). Already talked to 2 planners and they won't let me TCall to the yard and let someone else handle it. So my first hometime I got back 5 hours late and now my 2nd hometime will get me home some 30+ hours late. Instead of 2 days off I'll get home just in time to do my 10 and get back on the road. TransAm's guarenteed hometime leaves something to be desired I think. Oh, also my driver manager either quit or was fired last week, so I'm kinda in limbo ATM without a manager and I'm waiting to see what that does to my miles. Everyone hated my driver manager but he kept me running my butt off so I couldn't complain about that. I hope my new manager runs me just as hard.

Well that's it for my little gripefest. I'm really not happy with how my hometime is being treated but overall I'm still happy with my decision to goto TransAm

Straight from the Trans Am website. So much for that huh.

We guarantee your home time. You'll make it home the exact day and time you request."

You still get your 2 day's off, your h/t actually starts when you get. Just ask to have in changed in the computer.

Bigo1969 is correct. If they don't automatically adjust it, then make sure they do b4 you get out of the trk.
Thanks ironpony, seems that my moods run depending on how well TA has their act together, which is NOT very well at the moment.
    Boomer08, believing a website or a recruiter............

Trust me I wouldn't believe most of what they say. However it would be funny to get them on tape or something in writing that they promise you and then bring it to the companies attention if they don't follow through. After all they are and agent of the company and shouldn't be promising sh*! they can't back up. Just like TA's promise on hometime. Hey Panhandle do you train? TA is on my shortlist as soon as I graduate.

Looks like I'm going to join -+ in not making it home OT.....again. Going to see the sis this time and we was going to the mountains. Seems a friend of theirs has a cabin up there. Can't see how I'm going to do 5 drops in MI and make it to PA by the 2nd. Trying to get a swap going but.....with TA having HUA syndrome and already having to pay a $500 late fee (not my fault, only got the load this afternoon).....things don't look hopeful.
Boomer, no I don't train. I'm pretty much a loner but the really big problem is, these 660's are just 2 small for me. Now, if they would just get a bigger trk.......I think I'd be a great trainer. If you can screw it up, be sure that I have. lol
