    When I had a t2000 I used 6in off road light housings with a h4 low/high 5 3/4 headlight.
Had the low hooked to the fog lite switch, the highs came on with the high beam.
Both high light ran off a 30 amp relay/ fuseed system hooked to the alternator one per side.
Had blue white 80/130w bulbs in the fog/driving light and the head light.
Never had any problems with fog or snow.

look like decent lites--think mine were more like dwmacs--only thing is i wired both hi/lo to fog light switch--as i only used them in heavy snow---right side pointed low and to ditch--left side lower and to center line--werent to bad--but during heavy heavy snow still got some reflection back

Does the OEM wiring disable fog lights when the HI beams are on?
    (Like in some cars?)

Well isnt this grand. THEY DONT FIT! ...They sorta fit the opening OK but the mounting hole on the bottom lip of the bumper is too close to the front of the bumper itself. If I had to guess I would say maybe 1.5" is the mounting hole from the opening in the bumper.
I might...might be able to redrill a hole behind the current one, as there appears MAYBE just enough room to get a 7/16" hole there..but even then I am not sure it will work. This really sucks. When you hold them in place, they do look good....

..my other option is to just replace this bumper. The orig owner nailed a deer on the pass side and its bent in a bit. I think it could be straightened but maybe I just buy a new bumper w/o any fog cut outs OR find one with fog light cut outs that I can actually buy fog lites for...

Just get the one without the fog light cutouts...I've never encountered a situation where I needed fog lights anyway.
I use the fog light wires and switch to power chicken lights!

Ironically that what I was thinking...I could get a bumper with the light cutouts (along the bottom) and just wire them up to the fog light switch.

Cool. Now to select a bumper I guess....I will look at Iowa80. Thats where this last bumper came from...

I wonder what the OEM bumper actually looks like? - None of the W900s that I looked at had the factory bumper on it...

you must have too much money jd
w900 bumpers are flimsy as hell--if it is just a bit of a bend --usually you can put a crowbar in there and straighten it ---chances are its going to get bent again
for the lights just get some flat bar--drill 2 holes mount the light to one and the other to light mount on bumper--it will set them in a bit--but its better than a 4oo bumper

Yet another idea...thanks..The thing is I think the perfect mount spot might be still within the bumper lower lip itself. Your right though, if I mount it on flat bar, then it will mount them inside the bumper, perhaps a bit too much. Why me...?!

    The bend isnt too bad:

    nice looking truck jd
myself i would just straighten the bumper--a chain about 6" from corner then use a comealong --or a pole
you can go the other way with flat bar as well--then they will be outside the bumper?--that would be worse tho
