    Volvo's headquarters is in Sweden. Not sure about US share on Volvos, but in Canada it is #1 truck. And that is easily explained - most European truck drivers chose Volvo, and if there be a choice, there would be added SCANIA, MAN and DAF.

    Please, do not take "American BS" phrase as an offense. I like americans and their cheap Walmart. :)

    In the US its Kenworth and Peterbilt.

    Do not get me wrong, I am huge fan of Volvos because they are the safest truck being produced. However, the euro engine differ from our engines because of all the epa regulations and stuff.
