Sounds like de ja vu 99% of American truckin companies..I think they leave cleanin to the next driver, because he/she might be worse than the last, why waste money? One of my Golden Rules was fully functional heat & a/c..Pretty much else, I have learned to deal with..However, Rule #1 was a new bunk mattress...or..sleep in a sleeping bag 'til you get one..& turn in the receipt fot the sleeping bag..happy traills..better to be safe than to be sorry...shakey...consider yourself prayed for too..

As I already stated, the flatbed side is all O/O's now who lease on with WS. They still have a very few company skateboarders, but they were grandfathered in.MD STEELERS FAN Thanks this.

Well it has again been a few weeks since I posted on my happenings. I am currently at home for some medical test hit the road again Monday. So far the furthest east I have been in Denver. I have enjoyed my first 10 weeks driving for WS. I added up my mileage and I have close to 24,000. The downside is my truck has been in shop for 1 reason or another a total of 19 days, WS has kept me running most of it only 6 days of layover for me so that is huge. I looked at the calendar today and can't believe 2 weeks from today Sept 11 is my 90 days, WOW time has flown by. I still feel WS was the right choice for my family and I. I have meet some awesome drivers as well. Starting this week hopefully Wednesday I will be doing a route with Warp meeting around Desert Center, Cali and returning to PHX daily. I hope everyone is doing well themselves and as always feel free to PM me or post a question and I will do my best to answer them.
wulfman75 Thanks this. -
Good to hear you're rollin even if you have some truck issues still. Good luck with the new run whenever that begins.

Hey Cage, good to hear from you. Hope all is well on the medical front. Well, for my first day I think I got an offspring of your truck. Right side head gasket spewing oil all over...LOL
Hanging in a hotel in Myrtle now till I can bobtail over to the yard Monday morning. I hope someone gives me a ride back as this won't be a quick fix and as of today, there aren't any other trucks there....LOL -
This are good, my new run is pretty good. Almost like a dedicated regional run from PHX to Desert Center every day. I just realized today in 9/7 I hit my 90 days on 9/9 pretty awesome, hard to believe it has been 90 days already. Great company hopefully many more years here.

Good to know you got thru your 90 days. You should be getting that letter soon!
I just passed my 6mo mark yesterday (9/5), so I should be getting a little extra in my paycheck soon...
I'm glad we are on that dedicated run. It's great to know that we have something going every day, and that we know when and where to go...the only thing is starting at midnight. Hopefully it will get caught up and change soon to maybe 4 or 5am start time, which would be more "regular"... -
Things are going great, my meet and greet as they call it had a hiccup this weekend but it is new and there will be some issue. I hit my 90 days boy did it go by fast. Warp and I are doing well on our meet and greet now we just need consistency with load. We need to get a day ahead so we can run days instead of nights.

Well I am now in a White Kenworth heavy hall day cab. It is a good truck. only issue is the turning radius not very tight, backing will be fun to get down again. I guess this run is going good enough. Oh I don't like the super singles either.
I will miss 1798 it was/is an AWESOME truck all the bugs are worked out of it. Pony Pack just needs some electrical work. A guy from my 10 day is moving into it tomorrow. His truck 1804 has been giving him issues forever. He said he just spend 8 days down the truck is still not right.
