He did mention naked and dressing in that thread.. Does that constitute cross dressing. :biggrin_25523:

We've found a nice laundromat near our terminal that is alot cleaner and less expensive than the truck stops. We carry about a week's worth of clothing on the truck and do laundry every time we get to the yard -- even if it's small loads. When co-driver was solo, he carried a couple of weeks of clothes with him, but space has dictated that we keep it to a minimum. There are also several shippers that we get to fairly regularly that are notorious for long waits. We know the laundromats nearby and have been known to get a few loads done while waiting for a load. Just make sure there is room to park a truck nearby -- the one by the yard we can bobtail to and now that we have a car that we park at the yard, we don't have to worry about that. Truck stops are an emergency option for us as we prefer to spend as little time there as possible -- eat, sleep and shower then back on the road.

i figured out the trick to this. what people fail to realize clothes have 2 sides. one day wear it regularly and turn it inside out the next. so ownley 3 shirts a week makes laundry simple to do..............

HECK NO! Wash them once, the wash gets both sides.
Actually, if you flip them in and out, and then wear them backwards once, you can quadruple your laundry usefullness!
(I found I can save a ton of money by using BOTH sides of the toilet paper).:yes2557:

Seriously, I used to run regional (6 on, 1 off) and I would keep 2-4 weeks worth of clothes in the truck, so if I got busy on my one day off I didn't need to worry. Also, your company may have laundry facilities in their terminals, and that is a great way to save some dough.
