Cmon guys and gals, I really need your help here...

Can't help much Doc, I'm doin the same thing you are. Funny how some of the threads on here have an abundance of useless babble & opinion while many like yours are simply ignored :smt102DytchDoc Thanks this. -
problem is you can't even apply to a "good" company without at least a year's experience
-
If you want a training outfit and to only run in the Southeast, the only one I can think of is Schneider. Not sure if USX does just regional.

We can turn it into a babble thread. It just takes a couple words, lol.
You really need 1 year experience to find good jobs. USXpress and Covenant are in Chattanooga. There's a Scneider terminal there in Northern Georgia? Rocky Face? I see the trucks going in and out. Stay away from Werner.DytchDoc Thanks this. -
if you don't already have training I recommend Millis, if you already been to school they won't take you.
you looking for dry van, reefer, flatbed??? -
I understand. I know I'm gonna have to get some time under my butt....It was the same way in Emergency Medical Services when I started that 20 yrs aog...start at a minimal pay private service to a good county service with real benefits....I'm willing to do my time as a rookie

Appreciate the input

Though I live in the mid-west, I would probably take any except for maybe Schneider. Any company you go with, there are going to be things that you will not like about them. Good luck with your OTR career...............
