Which Company?

    Im thinking about purchasing a truck here very shortly i wanna ask an o/o. who is a better company to go to. fedex custom critical or schneider? anybody know which would be a better idea? i know for a fact fedex will let you have 379's but im not so sure about schneider...so will somebody please give me some help on this situation

    I know for a fact that Schneider doesn't care what type of truck you have as long as it meets their standards (approved fifth wheel, pass DOT inspection, wheelbase has to be under 275" if I remember right, and they maybe checking fifth wheel height now). I was leased to Schneider...and dreaded the last 4 months of my time there. Personally I would find a different place to go besides these two. Try looking at smaller companies that have decent customer support and will stand behind you when things go bad.

    Schneider has several 379 repo's sitting at Peterbilt in Green Bay so they must let on.... personally I wouldn't put my truck on with either of 'em... dry van freight is too cheap and so is FedEx...
