I took this funny picture earlier this year at a meat warehouse in Tampa, FL.

I had a 0700 delivery and showed up at 0300. The fence prevented me from getting to the guard shack. I waited for about 15 minutes and then I threw a pebble against the window. The guard jumped up and grabbed his clipboard in 1 second like he never been sleeping. He didn't know I took the picture. :)

I was leaving a BJs warehouse one day in NJ....there's usually at least 3 guards in there handling inbound and outbound traffic.

This one particular guard was sitting at the outbound desk, looked right at me, and dozed off. At first I thought he was looking at his notes, but after a minute or so, I had to get another guards attention to wake this guy up!

This is a guard at the Swift terminal, in Memphis. He or she was supposed to be watching the personal vehicles of OTR drivers.

When I worked at TWA in Flight Attendant Crew Scheduling, I would have to stop at the computer room at 6am to pickup the days reports. This one morning reports were not there so since the door was locked but there was this sliding glass window that was open. Yep, not knowing there was a overhead camera I climbed through the window. The guy that was on duty was fast asleep back in the back, guess I scared the crap outta him when I showed up. I did get the reports, but also got some stattic from my boss when the phone calls started. Actually he thought it was kind of funny.

haha... ok... this guy wasnt sleeping, but i thought it was funny...
i was delivering to--i think sams club-- in Villa Rica Ga, and they have this small guard shack, all the trucks pull in, 3 lanes to pull up in, and i happen to pull in with 2 other guys at the same time, all 3 of us walk up, and into, this little guard shack with 2 guards inside.... they place stunk sooooooo bad with insents, n we all agreed that it did... so the one driver opened the door to air it out.. the one guard said thats a good idea...
he said sorry for the insents, but they have just smoked a blunt and didnt want it to smell like pot inside....
well, i thought it was funny anyway...
    bak on track...
at my company we have a terminal that has a guard in N. NJ, this indian lady pisses me off... im in their ALLLL the time, i used to be in there 4 nights a week, n she would always be sleeping... i was taking pictures n sending them to the company, but they didnt care at all.... so now when i go in there i usually let the door slam and it scares the hell out of her... every time.. never fails!... she sits next a sliding window and everytime the door slams it rattles the windo.. haha.. priceless..
the other guard brings his laptop and puts a movie in... thats great an all at least he is staying awake... but someone started up a forklife and attempted to steal it.. made it out the roll up door that he opend up, and the guard couldnt hear him cause he was playing his movies with headphones on hahaha.. hilarious if u ask me...
ill have to get pic of them sleepin next time im there n post them.

Nothing like rolling up on a guard when they are sleeping. We have one at my company. I rolled up to the guardhouse, he was sleeping, and i just laid on the train horns. I think he had to change his pants and underwear after that.
