Air goes in and air goes out! As long as I'm not looking at grass from the wrong side I'm doing great!

My husband was killed while driving a death trap for this company, granted as the owner said "he knew the risks". My husband went down with his ship despite all the ugliness that was going on around him. The way he handled his truck that day nobody else was killed, the ones who caused this accident walked away then had the gall to lie about the cause. They never said it was my husbands fault but lied about their roles. In Pennsylvania you cannot sue your employer. Therefore this company continues and every time I see one of their trucks on the road, an anger and sadness over whelmes me. I salute you safe driving truckers who are out there and are just trying to make a living to support your families and hope I you make it home safely to them every time.

    hotrod1653 Thanks this.

Actually nothing was explained. I feel for her loss, yet she explained nothing. If her husband drove an unsafe truck it is his fault not the companies. He had a choice even if the choice was to quit. As far as the other party having the gall to lie, does she have proof of this? I know it is hard to admit for some that a loved one made a mistake that resulted in his death.

Also if in PA. you can't sue your employer, she should file a complaint with OSHA if her husband worked under unsafe work conditions. Even at that, where is the accountability on her husbands part.

Like I said before I feel bad for her loss but sometimes we have to accept responsibility for our own actions.

When? According to SAFESTAT they have ZERO accidents that have resulted in a death. Thier VHSEA is a 38.54. Seven inspections and no OOS.
