New Safe Parking Idea

Well I know you feel unlucky that all these things happened to you while you were parked.

But your silver lining is not having back hair. There are a whole lot of guys on this board that are so jealous of you just for that

 

Not too many other people have a titanium forehead either.

On a serious note though, I think people would be suprised how much thier trucks really do get messed with. I am the type of person where I really dont like leaving my truck anywhere I cant see it. I think because of that I have just seen more of the things that have happened.

I will also say that this is why I think a truck stop that does not cater to 4 wheel traffic is a good idea because when you get folks on vacation or doing what ever, they get curious, and they dont know the first thing about a big truck or the dangers involved of walking around them, and that makes them even more dangerous just for that aspect alone.

 

I can understand securement of freight. That's not the issue. It just gets tiresome when the company I choose to work with gets a bad rap because the same percentage of drivers here are knucklehesds as anywhere else. Take a look around you at a flatbed convention...or an independent gathering and tell me you don't see a fair share of idiots.

One of the biggest complaints about CSA2010 is that a trucker can have points assessed against him for an accident he was not in any way culpable for...like the drunk guy who jumps the median and plows into the front of the truck. Does that seem fair to you? That the trucker suddenly has 90 points out of 100 assessed against him because somebody killed themselves driving into him?

What, then, is the difference from penalizing me by excluding me from a place accessible to the public just because of what the wagon I haul says on the side?

Also a good jeans shop where the guys could try on their jeans and dont have to buy them showing their crack, not a pretty site.

And a boot store.
A physical Dr.
A dentist.
And eye Dr.

 

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but actual groceries that can be used to stock the truck. Not the usual truck stop prices for the lousy selection they have either.
