All of this info is really great, but doesn't really do anyone any good unless you include an address/location/description/website/phonenumber or something useful.

plus everything posted is opinion and hearsay..orion3814 Thanks this.

I've been looking for a good radio shop in the midwest that KNOWs what they are doing with a Galaxy 88. Most won't even look at it. any Ideas?

True never thought of it that way. I guess i would base it on the 10 years i have dealt with him. Never had a radio go funky. Had a couple radios done for Buddy's that had problems and he would always take care of them even if it was past the warranty was up. So i can say he is good based on my experience with him. I still run the 29 he built for me 9 years ago. Goes in once a year for a clean and check up but thats it. Tell Chris the fat tattooed guy from san diego said to come see him!! He wont let you down.

I've been using Cecil # Airtime Communications CB Shop.1950 E.Greg Street Sparks,Nv. 89431 P.H.#775-3594841.He seems to be fair and honest.Last night he was telling me he doesn't feel comfortable about the EKL RFX 75 installation on any radio other than Cobra 29.He has had problems with them and he will be the first one to tell you.So he did a tune and alignment on my Connex 3300.

Sorry for being snappy.
Obviously once you've been there the first time you know where it is and the people there but it can be hard finding it if you don't know.
Thanks for the info - I run out of Fontana so I ought to be able to make it over there. Is it behind the west side TA?
Thanks for the info on this one too! I live in Reno so I ought to be able to make it over there if I can't get to the one in Ontario. -
Instead of waste tons of time, I'll just ask. Is there a good CB shop in MN, near the Twin Cities area?

EASY ANSWER

Any shop that will tune your radio to FCC spects and can recertify it to the original certification is a good shop ......
I know not the answer some hope for .......
I don't deal with CB here and we have to do that with everything that we work on SADLY there is NO license required to fix most radios anymore .... if he screws it up all you can do is bad mouth him ..... -
that just scratched 99 percent of the shops out there off the list !!! LOL
