This is my home college, but the only classes they offer are 8am-5pm, MTWRF. I would never sleep.. lol
They do have a weekend class but it is Saturday and Sunday only. I don't have enough vacation time to cover the 8 week period.
I'm looking into a Thursday class that is at a different campus. Since I work every other Thursday I would only have to take a few days off.
Thanks
between a rock...

that kind of schedule you speak of is an annoyance. a "floater" coming in at HIS own doings. there are only so many road trucks to train as well as yard trucks. you got lucky at the school you went to. at my place, this just doesn't fly.

that was the bad part, sometimes it got packed but they were pretty cool about keeping me busy because unlike pretty much everyone that was there i paid for it myself and all up front. also showed up first thing in the morning while everyone else was still in bed lmao, so i almost always got a truck.
its also bad because its so tempting to be lazy and sleep in or not go one day, but i did alright with that too haha. -
JR i thought ya should know about US xpress i just filled out an app for them yesterday it was 2 pages now here is the catch the 2nd page is a agreement/contract saying you will be required to run as a team with another student driver for 6 months after you spend 4 wks with a driver trainer just thought ya would like to know

First off I'd like to know what you make now, how much you think your going to make as a driver(Money.income).
Second, Simply tell your employer you have college classes on certain days and that you can not work on those days or you can only work certain hours on those days. Most employers will make allowances for colleges, here in CA they can not fire your because your education interferes with work schedule. Here they don't have to pay you but they have to work around your schedule. That does not mean I would tell them it was for a career change.
So take the classes at the community college.
