Might want to verify this with them. Chase is very good about changing contracts in the middle and limiting these things all of a sudden.

I would like to add my 2 cents, I used a credit card for a few weeks 4 months ago, the amount of time getting preapproval before pumping fuel wasted alot of my time. You have to go inside before and give them a DOLLAR amount, get preapproval, leave your care, go pump your fuel, go back sign and pick up your card. Not to mention the higher cost of fuel.
Safe miles,

I don't know a lot about these folks, other than talking with them on the phone, but the National Association of Small Trucking Companies has a program where you get a Fleet One card and then NASTC negotiates discounts just like the large carriers do. The catch is you have to either pay a membership fee ($250) and go to a class at their headquarters in Gallatin, TN (near Nashville), or join their compliance/drug consortium program. I think the up-front cost will be worth it (for me) though, if you've ever bought fuel on a wholesale price+pumping fee system like this, you know the savings can add up pretty quickly. Once you get set up, the card itself is fee-free, no transaction fees, etc. I'll try to remember to report back after I've tried it for a month or so.
BobMac Thanks this. -
yes i already check them out. i just dont have the time to attend there classs. If you have your own authority , you must attend there class.

Could be... good point.
I really don't like big banks... my hometown lender has saved my ### many times. -
I would run that Chase card with 5% cash back as long as they will let you. No need to look for a fuel card as a better deal. Soon as Chase pulls the 5% switch to another card that gives a promotional rate. Don't ever be late on a payment, they'll yank that so fast ur head will spin.
I'd say the fuel cards best deal is cash price, thats about it... -
after reading the terms of the chase freedom card. I decided not to use the card. You only get 1% back on purchases. They have this revolving quartly thing , where you get 5% back, if you use the card it that time period. I only want to use the card for gas. The only way i could get the 5% if i use the card during the months of july thru sept. i will use the company card .

You may want to take a look at TCH if you want to get a fuel card. I always liked it much better than Fleet One. The way Fleet One has been handling their business I can't help but wonder if they are having financial difficulties. I have had problems getting some financial records from them for some time. When a bank is reluctant to provide paperwork on financial transactions by customers I can't help but wonder if they are in trouble.
