You guys DO realize that most of the freight haulers on this board have absolutely no idea what any of you are talking about, right?

    Just an observation...

No kidding, it's a '98 that's been completely sand blasted and professionally painted (no rattle cans), 12 new Continental tires all new brakes and drums, all alum wheels. He even put new brake chambers. Dealer said the previous owner keeps all his equipment this nice. On a side note a guy in Alabama took one like it to the Dorsey factory (now owned by Pitts) and told them to make 3 more identical. So I guess you'll soon be able to order a new Dorsey coil trailer.

Are you ready to trade that trailer of yours off yet? I see Mac has one with your name all over it! :biggrin_2559:

It's "coil hauling for dummies". So easy a door slammer can do it!:biggrin_2559: (too bad they can't wear the sweat pants and flip flops at the mill)

I think I know that trailer? The back end looks alittle beat up and the price seems kinda high for an 07. Actually that price is higher than what I paid for mine in 07, brand new!

I figured you would know who owned it. You mean trailers don't appreciate in value over time?:biggrin_2559:

P.S. It's the Kenworth mudflaps that make it worth more!:biggrin_25522:

Ha, there's a lot of used stuff sitting around priced higher or almost as high as new. The only trailers we've seen that routinely sell for more than they were new is grain hoppers. Not trying to offend but farmers are stupid when it comes to equipment. The usually fail to plan ahead and wait until the last minute to buy and end up getting hosed. But when your using government money who cares right? I sold a hopper to a farmer friend for the actual value, he ran it for about 4 years and sold it to another guy for $3k more than he paid for it, amazing.
