Why is it, that South Carolina is a crime-infested piece of shi+? The particular street in question, Railroad Avenue, looks like a fairly safe rural town street... but I guess looks are deceiving.
Seems no matter where you stop in SC, some useless friggin waste of skin is knocking on your door trying to run a con... or some relentless toothless crack-wh0re is banging on your door every five minutes to see if you want any diseases.
I'm in Blacksburg right now. If anyone knocks on my door, I'm just gonna unload a clip through the sleeper wall and ask questions later.

I agree, something else we need to work on to change. As far as S.C. goes it is probably no better or worse than some other very nasty warehouse districts where you take your load in and hope you don't get robbed.
But seriously, I live in Colorado. Those of you know about the chain law...it sucks. Screw hanging iron, not worth driving in if chains are needed. Denver has 2 TA's a Hook, Sapp Brothers and Pilot. A couple of those are not in very good neighbor hoods. And it just goes back to the issue...Lack of SAFE parking. Denver sucks for trucks in the winter. Colorado sucks as far as rest areas go. -
And I will add, the Companies dont care, the receivers dont care.
Company employees get snow days, and a warm and safe place to sleep. Warehouses dont care, they want the product...and they don't want you to park there. It is a loose loose problem. And who gets blamed?
When was the last time they feared to sleep in a cab, freezing cold or roasting? If somebody breaks into their home. they can MAKE THEIR DAY when their home is broke into. -
Well, now drivers are being robbed at knife point in Beto, KS at the TA.
And no one seems to want safe parking.
