they need to publish the causes of accidents more, so others can read what happened and learn from it.

I have to disagree....I don't believe that this info is worthless at all.
I do agree with the fact that there could be more written on certain types of accidents and even more of an explanation would be nice.

But....these articles are far from worthless.

I didn't say this well.... what I was thinking is it would be a great resource for a trucker to be able to review crashes and the reasons for them. often crashes happen in conditions that you'd never expect and prepare for.

Sure, but sometimes all the facts cannot be determined, and all we are left with is a best guess as to what happened.

For example, the crash in Atlanta (the tour bus) we will never know exactly what happened, because both drivers are dead. There are some good theories, based on facts (poor ramp design, etc) but they are still a guess.
Best thing you can do is read all you can, to help arm yourself so you can 'Expect the unexpected'.

Agreed. Also, major accidents do take months to fully investigate sometimes. Accident reconstruction is down to a science now. They can tell some amazing things about what a vehicle and driver were or were not doing by looking at tire marks, scrapes, paint transfer, etc. It takes a while.
Try looking at the NTSB website. They cover some of the bigger road accidents on occasion as well.
