-
Hey I'm always up for anything that's 15-20% better than what I've got right now!

i find the trojan overdrive agm batterie i think this is a good truckbatterie, somebody use this batterie

I like Interstate batteries they seem to hold up well, good warrenty and they stand behind them. Group 31 with 1000 Cold cranking amps. I run 4 but i'm sure 3 would do a fine job. These are right at $100.00 each. Those glass mat batteries i heard are $600.00 each. Good Luck!

i buy interstate blems ......just cosmetic imperfections......like $55 a couple of months ago...... deep cycles last longest

As much accessories truckers use and weather variances... go with the highest cranking amps and deep cycle. The more batteries you use, the more reserve you will have. I have six batteries on my company truck. That ought to tell you something if a company is willing to invest in six.
Batteries are one of them things that you get what you pay for, but case blemishes shouldn't hurt and could save you money. I could tell you good car batteries but that is a different story. NAPA is an option. -
In 2002, I went to a local battery warehouse wanting to replace all four of the lead acids that were on my W9. After paying, I drove around to the warehouse door, then walked inside watching as they brought my batterys to a large worktable. One of the employees then asked which brand I preferred, naming two. I replied "don't know, whats the difference?", thinking CCAs, Reserve amps, etc. He then reached up to a shelf above the table and showed me two stacks of stickers, one for each brand he had mentioned- I started laughing, and the guy stated that there were only four manufacturing sites for lead acid batterys in the US of A; these sites made batterys for everybody, shipping them branded or not.
Lot of time has passed, but I think three of the sites were Daniel, Exide, Interstate, and naturally, I can't think of the fourth. (remember this was 8 years back).
