Every school in the business is the best school in the business...just ask them.

The company trainers usually have to pick up where the school instructor stopped and had breakfast, but it would be nice if the school actually gave the company something to work with. A school is only as good as its worst instructor.

that's the usual schedule for that school, which by the way, recently went up to $9,500...........!!!!!!!!!

and believe me, the instructors are NOT as accessible as you would think. the reason why there may be that many there at your location is that its a weekend class........right.......?? this is why some have gone weekdays or afternoons............those classes are dying for students.

please believe me, I KNOW how that school operates.

the classroom times is NOT a good way to spend your time. classroom can be done in (say) 5 weekends, then 15 out in the yard, where YOU NEED MORE practice times.

oh and by the way..........IT IS THE SCHOOLS FAULT when students fail the DMV tests, as this goes to accreditation records. how long do you think they will allow the government to send money to a school that has a high failure rate......??

believe me, NUTTTS is shaking in their boots because of the high failure rates.

That's just crazy. $9,500 for school. Nothing personal but you should pay that and be a nurse or something.

For that price you can go to the school I went to and pay me $8000 in room and board and I'll drive your ### to class everyday .... I'll pack you a lunch too buddy.

yep, and they never guarantee a student a job, "just placement assistance" and the instructors themselves DO NOT get paid much. an instructor will be laid off in a heart beat. then the students have even MORE problems........no one around to help them.........all for a mere $9,500........!!!!!!!

You will learn more in your first 3 days with your trainer than in your whole time at school. I maybe just had a bad experience with my trainer. He was more concerned as running as a team than teaching me anything but driving straight down the highway which I could teach my 10 year old to do. When you get your trainer make sure you do all the backing at shipper/receiver and at the Full truck stops at 2 in the morning since that is real life. You must force yourself to learn if you are going to be good. Seriously you will find out on your own that the school means squat

Yeah another thing I should have mentioned is the whole job placement thing is a scam. I filled out all the on line apps myself for all the carriers hiring students and got all my prehire letters myself and chose FFE. I quit them in July to go back to Alaska for the summer and now I am going to work with Transport America next week that has a better hometime program for me since i have a family. If you are looking for a job check out FFE and dont listen to all the crap on these forums all the complaints are from whiners who cant cut it. All the big companies are the same and if you have a good attitude you will be fine
