They told me $40.00 (314 miles) but really it's 322.57 miles, so i guess they are doing just like they pay,Area code miles. Are you exp in tankers ?

NO exp. Drove for 3 months over 3 years ago. Took a 1 week refresher course in August. I'm good with backing, shifting and corners. Tanker sounds like a challenge and it also pays more. I'm hopeing to make $1000 a week and I know I'm going to have to bust my #####. They told me you could make $42k-57k, so I think $52k for me is possible and still be home to see the kids.

$40 wont even fill my tank, ####. 373 miles for me. Should cost about $50-60 to get there and theirs no way I'm taking a bus.

I hope you are not expecting that 52k (1k per/wk) in your first couple years and still get home often. If so, you are going to be VERY disappointed. (2500 miles/wk X 52 wks= 130,000 at $.40 per mile that is 52k. subtract taxes, ins you are not going to make it. plus, you are not going to ave 2500 miles a week for an entire year and still get home on a regular basis.) Not trying to rain on your parade, but after 10 years here I have seen many new guys come onboard thinking they are going to be the next Buffett and six months later they can't wait to leave because they think they were "lied" to by their recruiter or STL. Just try to be realistic and you should be fine.

$1000- taxes and insurance, should be around $700-750. I'm not expecting to bring home $52k.

Recruiter is emailing me final papers. Nothing about a conferance call.

It should by in paper work. Also last night I read that they require you to have Dbl/Tpl endorsement. So I went this morning and took the test and passed it.:biggrin_255:
