My husband went to work for Star Transportation out of Morton, Illinois several months ago and I haven't seen him since he left for Morton, months ago for his orientation! They promise to have you home 3 weekends out of 4 weekends a month. NOPE! That hasn't happened! I had heard horrible things about this company & did my best to try to talk him into going with any other company other than Star Transportation out of Morton, IL. However, he was determined to prove all of those horrible rumors wrong. Well, he is a firm believer that all of those rumors were not just rumors now, he knows for a fact that they are all true! They treat their drivers like low life scum of the earth without any regard or consideration about the drivers not making their loads on time because they are having to drive a piece of crap truck that is constantly braking down! My husband is not a quitter but he is ready to tell Star to take their piece of #### Truck & Shove It! I would have done that a long time ago! Please think twice before going with Star Transportation out of Morton, IL.

my hausband drives for them out of nashville...until coventant bought them out last year they were not bad...since then it has gotten so bad we are looking to bail as quickly as we can find a decent company...

He left several months ago and you haven't seen him since?
I think this is not the companies fault, either he does not want to come home or he just doesn't know how to speak up and say I am going home one way or another. Bus, train or automobile I am going home.

These are two differant companies. Star out of Mortan is not the same company as Star out of Nashville. They may both be sorry companies but they are still differant companies.

I agree, when it's my time to go home I'm going home one way or the other. I may have to pitch a fit but I am going home. The only way a company can "make" you stay out is if you let them or you don't want to go home.
