Well i got a call from May this morning stating that Monday's orientation here in Phx needed to be rescheduled, so they gave me 2 options:

    1. Sit and wait till Monday for May to call me back with a new orientation date for Phoenix.
    2. Take the bus ticket to Salem, Oregon and start orientation on Monday.

I went with option 2. So i'm all packed up and headed out for my 29hr bus ride departing tomorrow (Saturday) at 2:50pm from Phoenix. should arrive in Salem 7:55pm Sunday evening.

I don't have a laptop yet so i'll have to post any updates to my situation whenever i return home.

Well things are looking up, heading to Salem was the last thing i expected so it really took me by surprise, weather will be much nicer though. 60's! :biggrin_255: thanks for your help everyone! i'll keep you posted!

    HFC Thanks this.

    Enjoy the PNW rain lol.
I hope to be in Salem soon, just waiting on stinking Wasco County,OR to return a background check to Leona at May.
Guess the computer check had a hit from there,I know I had a ticket there like 8 years ago but nothing bad.
"May" see ya on the road.......pun intended.

    thanks everyone!

@Y2K, I WILL enjoy the PNW Rain, i'm from Washington State, i'm not much of a desert guy, been stuck out here in AZ for 4 long years, plan to move back home in a year or so, so it will be nice to visit Oregon for at least a few days during Orientation. i miss the green!

I'm an Oregon native living in Washington myself but I do love the desert SW,at least for a while now and then.
I wouldn't want to live down there in the Summer.

This is Mt.St.Helens from my house.:biggrin_25525:

nice pic! i must say that i do enjoy the offroading available out here in the desert, good trails, winter is the best time of year out here though. my first time flying into AZ was June of 2006, 119*F i had just come from 65*F, wasn't fun haha.

Yeah I've been down there on my Harley a lot in the Summertime, really like the Flagstaff/Williams area but down there around Phoenix is too #### hot lol.
Had some friends living in Mesa that we'd stay with once in a while.
Even this time of year it was too hot for me,we'd take off on the bikes early in the morning and head up to Payson or Strawberry to get away from the heat for the day.
