no, i am not wrong.........and let me ask you this...........when he gets the hernia repaired, and let's say its after he graduates school, do you think that after his 'recovery time", any company is just going to hire him right away..??

heck no, and you wanna know why........??

cuz he would have been out of a truck for a "period of time", and the company will MAKE him go back to school for a re-fresher course, which i might add, he might have to pay for out of his pocket.........

i kinda know the routine and games companies play on people.

on "average" recovery time for a repaired hernia, can be about 1 month.........even then, sometimes WITH limitations.

look, Is anyone here a hiring manager for werner?

No? I didn't think so. The only people that can answer your question is werner. Situations like these are handled on a case by case basis. Wether or not you get a waivor is totally up to werner. I would suggest that if werner doesn't hire you should look for a company that might give you a waiver. You might find one, or, you might have to get it fixed first. Just be prepared to sign your rights away, because if you do find some company to work for with it... then you might not be eligble for there health benefits, and you might have to sign a release of any right to workmans comp if your condition worsens. I would have to say corporate attorney's are going to be your worse enemy.
