My family traveled a lot when I was young. I've always loved jumping in the car for a road trip. Always wondered what it would be like to be a trucker but it just never happened, so this will have to do......

Hi, Burt... and welcome to the forum! I, too, traveled the US and Canada a lot as a kid and the travel bug never left me. I've never been a trucker, though... and at 56 years old with some arthritis setting in chances are I will never have that opportunity. So I live vicariously through a couple of good friends who drive and the folks here on the forum. It's a good group.
You'll learn plenty reading through the threads, and if you have questions please do not hesitate to ask. I've asked some pretty basic ones along the way and while they might talk about me behind my back, no one's clobbered me yet.
So grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and join us. I hope you come to enjoy this place as much as I do! -
