Okay so the OP comes on THREE DAYS ago and says basically W/S suxs has a TOTAL of ONE post and bails with out further explaination?????? Smells like a set up to me. I am not a driver and many in this thread have been in many of the other W/S threads that I have been in. W/S seems to have some of the least DRIVER complaints of the companies. Yes their pay scale is a bit low (this I do know from newbie experience from my ex's pay) but it seems as if those that work there for the most part find the company 'family friendly.'
This thread just seems like a set up.

you have to register (free) but to see your numbers, you pay $10.00 and then you can only view your numbers for 5 days i believe, so just make a print of it while you are there. -
LostOne9 Thanks this.

I am not a WS driver, never have been, but I've talked to a fair amount over the years. They seem to fairly happy with the company. The seem to retain accounts which is a good sign.
I think, perhaps, dwntwnbs has a burr under his saddle, probably of his own making. I'd just ignore his whinneybutt. -
well, I ran for them for 12 years, best money I ever made, dedicated route for 8 years pulling a rocky moutain set. Yes, lots of snow but try living in montana and drive truck and not run in snow. Was home every weekend and once in the middle of the week and get this, I stayed mostly in motels and they paid for them!! Never had any problems referring folks to them, and still do.
Ya know, you can't keep people happy all the timegdyupgal Thanks this. -
Winter driving!!! OMG!!! Jebus...get over it. It SNOWS every winter in more than 2/3's of the US. Winter driving is PART OF DRIVING! Whaddya want them to do....run you on Sesame Street (I-10/I-20) until you've got 10 yrs under your belt??? Come on...quit being a puss! Do Elk Mtn in Wyoming several times and everything else will seem like a "cake-walk" after that!

its all about the math....say a company has 1,000 trucks, hires 50 drivers a week thats 2.6 drivers per truck a year...meaning drivers last about 5 months

I think they are doing better now.

Sounds like the OP couldn't cut the mustard and Tim gave him a bus ticket to the house.
