Trying to get clear picture of possible sleep apnea regs like blind men describing el

Do we really want Regulations on this matter?

This is a question that we really need to consider. If the regulations come out in the form that was written in a recently release of recommendations to give guidance to DOT docs. Then I do not want them.

And if they become regulations then the doc will have no ability to bend the rules if the rule is not appropriate for a given patient.

What we do know right now is simple. If you have sleep apnea you have no business driving a big truck untreated. If you get equipment that has a much compliance data capture ability as is available, you have done all you can do to be complaint with the regs.
