I've been with Interstate Dist. as an O/O out of the Fontana yard for 4 yrs. When I hired on the contract I signed was a fifteen day pay period. Everything was good until 5 months ago. Now I can't even get paid on loads that were done 3 months ago. I can't get any answers from anyone in Tacoma Wa. either. No money, no fuel, I had to park my truck. I'm NOT the only one either. This is happening to most of the owner operators. 40+ yrs. of driving and I have seen this happen to several companies (not paying the bills) just before they go out of business! Is Interstate Dist. Co. going under or is this just another case of mismanagement? Anyone else having this problem?
O/O beware of Interstate Dist.

you need to get a lawyer to protect yourself, the laws say they MUST pay you for the linehaul within a specified time period, I think 15 days.

Yes I have been with a few large companies that have folded overnight...Garrett Frt...Milne Frt...Sterling Frt...and CF...I was working for each one when they folded...Looks like Interstate is the next to do it...What a shame!
