Ive been with them for 5 1/2 years now, you didnt say which division you'll be with. Whatever you want to know specifically, I'll be glad to answer.

They are out of iowa i will be hauling potatoes and i was wondering if they keep their trucks up and if they do what they tell you they are going to do. My dispatchers name is Fergie and it seems like she keeps giving me different answers about which truck i am getting but she says they are a great company and their trucks are usually no more than 2 years old and since im quitting the job i have i want to make sure im not making a mistake and thanks for your reply it means a great deal to me.

Well I'm in the step deck division but I know quite a few of the bulk haulers which is the division you'll be in. Fergie dispatches most of the bulk drivers. You'll have no problem with them keeping up the equipment. Just take it to the shop , tell them whats wrong and when you need it.
If you do breakdown on the road, just call the shop with your location and they'll get someone to you as quick as they can. I would say average time for break downs is about 1 to 1/2 hours.
Most of the bulk trucks are volvo's with the super single tires on them. I do know there are a dozen or so new trucks in, that the shop is getting ready.
You'll have to keep up with your log hours, they (dispatch) doesnt. There are also no qual comms , etc. All your dispatches are by cell phone and if you dont want to use yours, they will give you one.
Paper work hast to be turned in on Thursday if your going to UPS it in and you'll be paid the following friday. If you turn it in at the yard, then anytime over the weekend will be OK. They have direct deposit or you can have the ck mailed.
vacation after a year, (1 week), holidays are paid at $50 each, we get all the major holidays. They have AFLAC for any extra insurance (disability, etc) and single health insurance is 33.00 per week
I hope this helps, good luck at WW, I think you'll enjoy it,

Are you guys still around? I'm trying to assist my nephew as he has had enough with a certain trucking company located in Ft. Dodge. He is 26yrs old with two years OTR ex. and an MVR I wish were mine. He has O.D. experience and is looking for a flat/stepdeck company. Any info good/bad would be appreciated.

I too would like info w.w. I'm considering hiring on as a beam hauler? I hear they take very good care of their drivers. I'd take any information at all. I'd be based out of Savannah ga
