Most companies won't hire you with one preventable. Seriously a U-turn! I think you missed a few days in school. Probably should hang it up before you seriously hurt someone, including yourself. Just curious, did you go with a trainer after school?

ouch.
I think you may find better luck searching out a new career. Nothing against you but the insurance liability with that many accidents in such a short period of time is going to be astronomical. -
I drove with my late husband for US Xpress out of Oklahoma City I enjooyed driving for them but then I started having trouble with my arms and legs, I had developed parkinsons disease from diesel exhaust [ as auto exhaust ruins your lungs, diesel does the same to the brain] we had an exhaust leak on our truck for approx 4 months, we kepyt reporting it and I even got6 a DOT ticket for it but the shop kept saying they coldn't find a leak anywhere, aftyer aabout 4 mnths the hose where the leak was finally blew a hole in it but it was to late for me, it took over 2 yrs to get it diagnosed and there was a 1 yr limitation on going after the company for faulty equipment so they got away with it, now I live on Soc Sec of a little over $800.00 a month which is hard to do, just be careful of any exhaust leaks please

Wow, sorry too hear about your bad exp, myself , i would as your at long at home, is too take a sheet of paper and write down my thoughts as too , did i like trucking life verse the i did not like trucking part of life, draw a line , right down the middel, then same paper ask why didnt my trainer teach me this, it is true , most trainer , will leave you alone, if , you come off at a know it all, i trained for us xpress outa Lincoln, Nb treminal, i too was awaken one night, i layed out her route on the jump seat and wrote on lower windsheild in front of her here route numbers or hyway too take till morning,i was awaken by a thump, i said what the h**********, as i keep hearing all the air brakes and stuff, i got up , had a quik see what going on and she was doing a u turn in midel of four lanes , and the bumping was the guard rail on other side of hyway, she was straight across in 4 lanes of traffic , o gesh, i jumped in quik into the seat , becuse she was stuck and didnt know what too do, i just slamed into the guard rail hard, turn hard left then got out out there going west instead of east, bent up dot bumper,no damage too guard rail, but i just blamed it on the dock worker shuttle truck's ,after i got her back on right hyway, i figure out my mistake, as we had coffee and breakfast ,i explained it too her the small green ones hyway markers are buss routes, the solid blue is state hyway markers, and she thought this was her turn off and away she went down on the green one , then relized her mistake and tryed too get out of it, ithis was my fault and i told her so,wasnt mad at her or anything,i just forgot too put in that detail, she went on , i last heard was a very great driver for them,so if you see Shelly in a very new truck , wave hi for me

We kept a carbon monoxide detector in our truck. Looks just like a smoke alarm and you can get it at Walmart for about the same price. You are very lucky you didn't die in your sleep! I had heard of a few truckers dying from exhaust leaks and that is why we got the alarm.

sorry to say driver but you are screwed
all these incidents are preventable and are your fault.
you obviously did not get complete proper training about "not" doing u-turns any where unless of course its in a truck stop or ship/rcvr yrd, getting stuck in the mud bit um confused.... needs more explination, the mud flap thing.. 1st if you over hooked that means you did not get out to check if you where to low or not properly under the trailer to begin with.
all this to say the training school you went to did not properly train you or you did not pay enough attention to detail that you as a rookie thought "I lost my day job now I'm goin to drive a 80k lb vehicle driving it like I drive my small 3k car and think that it will get me a better paying job."
sorry that means you dont belong in a semu at all, period!
hope my ranting dont do much but the truth hurts. So GROW up and go get a job that you can handle and trucking is not one you obviously cant handle.. comprende -
Wow you really had a run of bad luck. I think things happen for a reason - we just may not understand the reason. Hang in there. I hope things improve for you. Soon!

5 accidents in 6 months! somethings wrong here. I've been out of school for 11 months-accident free. Did you check to see if the bar to the trailer tandems was in the locked position? on the new trailers they have an automatic locking switch after you release the button to slide the tandems. mud flaps getting ripped off, tells me that you were high-centered on one side. did you check the road ahead before you got stuck. NEVER, NEVER do a u-turn unless in a t/s or shipper/receiver.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news but man...your not going to find ANYONE that will hire you after all of that!
Accident #1 -- So what if the trailor beside you was "overlength". You should have been extra careful on the back-up! YOUR FAULT
Accident #2 -- First off...hitting a guard rail is your fault...PERIOD. I don't buy that the tandems weren't locked. They're held in place by a huge pin!!! So your saying that the pin just "slipped out" of place, skipped over the what...8-10 other slots and fell all the way to the back??? No wonder the court didn't buy it...sounds like someone coming up with their best just to get out of a mess!
Accident #3 -- Again...YOUR FAULT! What are you doing in the freaking mud??? You should have been aware that the ground was soft, or muddy, and therefore should NOT have attemped to back, turn, drive through, etc. I deliver to jobsite all the time (flatbed) and alot of times there will be soft ground or mud holes...I ALWAYS get out and look around to determine the path I must take so that I don't end up just like you did...stuck in the freakin mud!
Accident #4 -- First off NO ONE will even close to hiring you, much less talk to you, if you have ANY type of traffic violation pending in court! Next time you call someone, tell them you have something pending in court and I will bet you my paycheck, the next sound you hear is the phone hanging up! Second, why are you making a U-turn in the hwy/rd??? Shouldn't have done that in the first place...go find a place to turn around! Dont just make a u-turn! Why even fight that in court??? YOU ARE GUILTY...IT WAS YOUR FAULT!!!
Accident #5 -- WHY would you try and hook up if the trailor was ####ed at a downward angle?????? OR, if you caused it to lean over, why didn't you go for help then? Sounds like another issue of not checking to see if you are on stable ground to me. But then again, I may be wrong. But still, if the trailor was tilted at the wrond angle for a hook up...why didn't you go tell someone to fix it before trying to hook up???? If you felt that the ground may have been to unstable for a hook up...you should have told someone that as well! Again...ALL YOUR FAULT!!!
I'm sorry man, I know I sound like a jerk, and I'm really pounding you here but come one...FIVE accident in 6 months!!!!! I'll tell you like my dad used to tell me, "trucking is one of those things that your either good at or your not so good at, you can either do it, OR, you cant." It sounds to me like you need to find something else man, because it doesn't sound like ur very good at what you chose to do...that or you have the worst luck God ever handed down to man! Sorry man...I don't think anyone can help you! I think you did urself in when it comes to being a trucker. But hey, it's ok, not everyone was meant to be a trucker! I sincerely hope you find work soon! It's tough out there and even worse when your broke. I just hope I never have to pass you the hwy!
