your right it is almost 100rpms not 150rpms so the 24.5 rims are a fixed weight,,, the weight diff would only come from the tires themselves 24.5 low pro to 24.5 tall rubber.
Are you sure there is only 6 oz per tire diff ? If the this is correct the weight diff would not provide a savings and i would figure the 100 rpm drop might have a fuel saving MAYBE.
But the real saving may come from the engine turning less revolutions over its life cycle?????
