Just placed an order there myself! I called at about 0900 yesterday AM, and I was surprised, I actually placed the order with Sparky himself! Seems like a real nice guy, no pressure to buy things I didn't need, VERY refreshing!

His prices seem VERY good (about the same as elsewhere)...and he does the Peak and tune for free with the sale of the radio (others charge 10-25$ for it!)!! :biggrin_25525:

I would try rolling radios out of Richmond, VA. Pricing is comparable, work is exceptional. He won't steer you wrong.

I always enjoy looking on this Forum...Since it's a Trucker's Forum to start with. And everyone and their dog knows Most Truckers have CB Radios in their Rig's, and Not Ham radios, and most of the questions about radios, is always about "CB Radios"...

Even this section of the Forum, is titled "CB Radio Forum"...

Yet, for some reason there are several Ham guys that will post all kinds of scare tactics to try and keep guys from Modifying a CB Radio, or buying one of the Export 10 Meter radios which are some of the most popular radios that has came along in the last 30+ years...

It's like they have nothing better to do, than spread their Bull **** remarks about CB Radio instead of trying to promote the hobby and post something positive for a change...

Just wondering...Don't you people have Ham Forums you could hang out on?.......Oh thats right...Their are some Ham Forums, just not allot of activity on them right?........Wonder why that is?......

But do go on and keep posting on the CB Forums, I enjoy watching y'all chase off guys who at one time were considering getting their so called "Ticket"...

By the way...Which one of you is suppose to be watching the eBay ad's this week??? I seen over 20 Export Radios on their today listed as CB's!:biggrin_2555:

Y'all are slipping! I guess your spending too much time on the CB Forums spreading hate and discontent and you've let your guard down on being eBay Police! :biggrin_25523:

As for the original question about Sparky's... That is one of the better Web Sites on the Internet to shop for CB Equipment. Good price's, Good Techs that know what their doing. And they can answer just about any question you have concerning CB Radio, and mounting options.

"Walmart" on the other hand...You get what you get. Trust me...There is NO ONE at Walmart that is going to know anything about a CB Radio, or have a clue on how to install one, or anything else...The only other place worse than Walmart would probably be Radio Shack...The kids that the Tandy Corp. hires to work at their Radio Shacks (or the "Shack" as it's called now) most don't even know what a CB Radio is!

Want to have some fun at a Radio Shack? Go in and ask for a 102" Whip...:biggrin_2559:

And to think, Radio Shack at one time was the leader in CB Sales...so sad...:biggrin_25513:

    Rat and silentpardner Thank this.
