I'm sure they will outlaw farting, too...give 'em time.

Keep an ashtray in the rig, don't smoke when load/unloading, and it ain''t no big deal. How many idiots drive by flipping cigarette butts out the window?

I am planning on hauling fuel after I have a year of experience pulling milk tankers.
Currently my pay is about .28 a mile and no back haul. If I get a backhaul, it is double that...which only happens once in a while. I did get one load to St. Loius that paid double without a back haul....whoowheee...can't wait to do that again.
I was wondering how much fuel tanker drivers are getting paid in the midwest. I am guessing it would be in the .35 - .38 a mile range for someone starting out.
I have my hazmat and will be hauling some liquid fertilizer this fall for a local co-op, to add to my experience. -
Out west it's still there. But you're right it's getting harder and harder to find, that's why you must be the best you can be.
