Eagle Transport (Gas Haulers)

Any MD drivers around this thread? Getting ready to start in Salisbury.

 

I am not from Md i am out of Tn i just started 2 months ago myself . Really like it so far and its getting better .

 

I'm sure Ill be fine. Nothing really shakes me. I know how companies are, different terminals have different flavors. One reason I'm leaving the company I'm with.

 

Have you hauled gas before now ? I didnt been o t r for over 15 years tho. Now i am home every day and making what i used to make staying gone all month lol .

 

No I have not hauled gas before. I ran over the road for 5 years and have not done that in 10 years. So Im sure Ill be fine.

 

Eagle is about to close on deal with kenan, it is final and will be announced any day. This is big and new new new

 

What kind of deal are we talking about have not heard nothing up here ?

 

Inquiring minds want to know more about what is up between kenan and eagle.

 

It will be anounced within days if not weeks,depending on timing of the paperwork. Eagle (19th largest bulk carrier in nation) is being purchased by kag(3largest bulk carrier,#1largest petroleum carrier) and it will be anounced in the coming days. Simple, done deal just not announced yet. Not rumor , just news. Dont be the last guy to put out an application in your market. You will get left out in the cold. Get it in before your brothers, dont delay and then be upset. Kag will only need so many of the eagle brothers. Your brothers are already putting out apps just in case.

 

Heard that rumor before lol . When and if which is a really big if , i hear it from our manager i will believe it then not from somebody nobody knows on an internet page . IN the meantime i am going to keep on hauling gas and making a good payday hope everyone has a safe day .`
