Schneider National is an :biggrin_255: awesome company to work with! I've only had great experienced with them- definitely worth pursuing a driving career with them if you have the opportunity.

They have restarted training in some locations...don't know all the specifics, though.

I just passed three years with them. No serious complaints....home when I'm supposed to be home, paychecks always accurate, additional pay given without having to even ask for it (detention, layover, etc)....

Yeah, I'd like to see a few more miles, but who wouldn't? I'll keep what I've got for now, especially since my wife lost half her income recently and I had to put her back on my insurance, which was also hassle-free.

Cheer leader? Who cares, bottom line is he's happy, and you could do a whole lot worse than SNI. Believe me, I know.:biggrin_25525:

I would like to know more about them, but they probably don't hire out of Maine most companies won't.

20-30 years ago people would relocate for a job. Now today.... Not a chance! They all have the gimme attitude.

20-30 years ago financially you probably could, but with today's standards its too expensive to do so.Your not finding as place to rent in mass for anything under $1000/mnth O and they want first last and security. So to pick up and move is at the minimum a $3,000 venture. And thats just to rent a place.

Its not 75-150 bux a month like it was back then...lol

20-30 years ago the trucking industry wasn't in the toilet like it is today. I know I wouldn't move so Schneider would hire me. Moving for a $10-13 dollar an hour with no overtime job seems like a waste.
