No sir, absolutely not. If you've never been through this new process with sni, don't fret, you will be getting your chance, as they are in the process of requiring recertifications for all of their drivers, according to their training engineers here in Coraopolis, PA. Alos, EVERYONE in their bulk div, is being schedualed for their winter training, and just with the few days I've been here, I know of two long time drivers that didn't pass, are being reschedualled to do a re take within 30 days. If they do not make the cut at that point, they will be let go. (Stated directly by one of their head training engineers).

By the time one gets to the point to get their QT training, if you barely skate by the initial pump off procedures, you will be reschedualed to retake it again in about 30 days. They give you about 3 chances to get things right & to do them right (Pump off & air off) if you do not pass it, you are sent home. So you had better follow your pump off prcedures cards that you are given. Also, you WILL be required to ware your ppe during these pump offs.

The point they are trying to make is that they want ONLY QUALITY & Profeshional drivers that puts safety ahead of everything else. I know of one driver, who had been working for them for a few years, was seen by one of their TE's not waring their long sleeve shirts, hard hat and gloves during a swap out, he was terminated at the Charlotte OC.

Call it what you want, but I know what I've seen and heard withmy own two eyes & ears.

I will take your word for it. I don't work for Schneider. This among other things raised the red flag for me.

Be careful that you don't over hydrate. I was at a Carolina Panther game several years ago. It was hot and my wife drank too much water at the game worrying about dehydration. We wound up at the emergency room with her getting a potassium IV because she had screwed up her electrolytes.

Oh no doubt about it. You definately have to keep bannas or potasium tabs readily avail in this business. It also doesn't hurt to keep a case of piedolite as well. It's full of the various nutiants the body needs and is what is used for small children & the elderly in the hospital. It is an excelent source of nutirants as well as being to bneable to re-hydrate the body.
