Praise the Lord! I finally got rid of the stone, whew. I also took my phone to the sprint store here in Lewiston and wow did they do wonders! The next day they had a new phone for me, just like my dead one, even tho I did tell em that I got it wet. They said it doesnt look wet to us! So they turned it in and got me a new one delivered the next day.
Oky now for the bad news, I hafta be honest, sigh stupid me failed one of the tests for my permit. I have one more shot at it on Monday, due to Swift being very lenient. I was just so stressed. I passed the two harder ones, figures. Now gotta do it on Monday which is also my first day in class. Prayers would be welcome.
Nana hope things are going better dear one.
    Cookie thanky ma'am.

Now you just stop worrying about that test. You didn't fail......you just took a practice test. And if memory serves me correctly you can take that test a third time if need be. So you do NOT beat yourself up nor do you put pressure on yourself with worry. Yes, we'll be praying but you remember that we also know you can and WILL do this.

We women panic about these tests. You're cooking, cleaning, worried about the phone, sick with a kidney stone and taking tests. Good LORD!!!

You want to know what I was responsible for when I was in school taking those tests? School. That's it. My daughter was doing the cooking and my laundry, my grandson even packed my lunch every day. My grandson, daughter and son in law would help me study and quiz me.

So don't you let me hear you talking about failing. You didn't.

I have absolute confidence in you.

yeah...dont sweat it. In the weeks leading up to the CDL permit test, i took online tests, and almost always passed the air-brake test with at or close to 100%. Wouldn't ya know it....i failed the air-brake test for the permit by 1 question. One of the questions asked "at what point are your air tanks considered FULL"...then gave you the options of 65psi, 80 psi, 100psi or 125psi. we just got done talking about '100psi' in class as a normal level of pressure in the tanks...but the answer was in fact 125. GRRRRrrrrrr.

Hey Wyld! Glad your feeling better! As for the test, don't over stress it. Listen to Nana. You WILL do fine. We will send prayers your way cuz they do help :biggrin_25525: But I believe you will do just fine! Things work out the way God intends.

Here's what I had to learn about backing. watch the tip of the corners of the trailer. Correct their movement at once but use small motions. It's like ..........icing a cake you have to be gentle, don't oversteer. What happens a lot is someone (me) turns the wheel to far so they get a back and forth motions.

On dockings, open the window and look don't just rely on the mirrors. Get out and look.

Studying hard, very hard. Anyone have any ideas to help? Passed the airbrake and coupling ones. It was the one with tons of questions I failed, think it is general knowledge. So been studying that.
Thanky again for all the support!
