    :biggrin_25521:whatever you do transcorrs lease purchase is a joke,unless you have a wife with a good job and you can afford to lease a truck for 1400.00 a month and a 8 cent maintenance account per mile you will come out making about 600- 800 a week if you run all 7 days.
    they lost a lot a freight and are not fully recovered from recession good program if you like driving a 2005 pete with 700,000 miles and no money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thats what they leased you? a 2005 Pete?? for $1400./month. geez! thats scary,not to mention it has 3/4 of a million miles on it.

    TransCorr is owned by the Schwartz Partners (a private capital group). TransCorr was a private fleet until the mid-90s as just the trucking fleet for Schwartz Partner's paperboard manufacturing business. They have the money to stay on the road, trust me.

    good point...

    they have gotten their saferstat score back up to satisfactory but im unsure where they stand in being ready for csa2010

    Another "1 post and run" person. 1400 per month is only 350 a week. Plus .08 per mile for maint is not bad. (that is what I put aside for a 2007 truck) and only take home 600-800 after working all seven days? Missing to much info...pay rate, miles per week, fuel surcharge etc etc.

    This guy sounds like another blacksmith.

    As much as I Love a Pete They would have to hold a gun on me to do that lease!
    Come on Rt66. You have 24 years, WTH were you thinking with? 700,000 and a 5 year old truck? They must have had every piece of chrome they could put on that thing, new paint job, polished everything, wooden floor, woden steering wheel, best seats money could buy, O/O dash, 2000 lights, custom bunk with shower and toilet, APU, 6 free tanks of fuel and one fine hottie in the bunk for that kind of stupid money! OH! Not to mention thaqt first place throphy for winning the GATS Truck Show!

    Thats what they did right? Held a gun to your head and made you cut your finger and sign in blood!
